Online Payment Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 2026-27
The School of Raya is managed by TSB Trust. By making any payment through our online payment gateway powered by Razorpay, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern all online payments made to The School of Raya through the official website and authorized payment gateway.
2. Online Payments
Parents, guardians, students, and other authorized users may make payments towards:
• Tuition Fees
• Admission Fees
• Registration/Application Fees
• Transportation Fees
• Boarding Fees (if applicable)
• Examination Fees
• Activity Fees
• Event Fees
Any other charges officially notified by The School of Raya
All payments are processed through Razorpay's secure payment platform.
3. Payment Responsibility
The payer is responsible for:
• Ensuring the accuracy of student details before making payment.
• Entering the correct Admission Number, Student ID or other required information.
• Verifying the payment amount before confirming the transaction.
The School of Raya shall not be responsible for incorrect payments made due to inaccurate information entered by the payer.
4. Payment Confirmation
Upon successful payment:
• A confirmation message and/or receipt will be generated.
• Parents are advised to save or print the payment receipt for future reference.
• Fee receipts may also be available through the school's parent portal or ERP, wherever applicable.
5. Transaction Security
The School of Raya does not store debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI or other banking credentials.
All payment information is securely processed through Razorpay in accordance with applicable security standards.
6. Payment Failure
In the event of: Network interruption, Bank timeout, Technical failure, Incomplete transaction
The amount, if debited, will normally be reversed by the respective bank/payment service provider as per their policies. If the payment is debited but not reflected in the school's records after a reasonable period, parents may contact the School Finance Office with:
Student Name
Admission Number
Transaction ID
Payment Date
Amount Paid
7. Fees and Charges
Any convenience fee, processing charge or applicable taxes imposed by banks, card issuers or payment providers shall be borne by the payer unless otherwise stated by the school.
8. Intellectual Property
All content available on this website, including text, logos, graphics, photographs, documents, and other materials, is the property of TSB Trust/The School of Raya unless otherwise stated.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or modified without prior written permission.
9. Website Usage
Users agree not to:
• Attempt unauthorized access to the website.
• Interfere with website functionality.
• Misuse payment facilities.
• Upload malicious software or harmful content.
10. Limitation of Liability
The School of Raya shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by:
• Internet connectivity issues
• Banking system downtime
• Payment gateway interruptions
• Force majeure events
• Any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the school.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected during payment processing shall be handled in accordance with applicable laws
and the school's Privacy Policy.
The School of Raya will take reasonable measures to safeguard personal information but shall not be liable for
unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond its control.
12. Changes to Terms
The school reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated
versions will be published on the official website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from online payments shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in
Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
The School of Raya is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all financial transactions.
1. General Policy
Fees paid to the school are normally collected towards educational services, admissions, academic programmes and related activities.
Refunds shall be governed by the Admission Policy, Fee Policy, and applicable regulations of The School of Raya and TSB Trust.
2. Registration/Application Fee
Registration/Application Fees are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by applicable law or where the School determines that a payment has been collected in error.
3. Tuition and Other Fees
Tuition Fees and other school fees shall be refundable only in accordance with the School's published Fee Policy, admission Terms, or any applicable regulatory requirements.
Any approved refund shall be processed only after verification and necessary internal approvals.
4. Duplicate or Excess Payment
If a parent inadvertently makes:
- Duplicate payment, Excess payment
- Payment against an incorrect student account
The School will verify the transaction and process the eligible refund or adjustment after confirmation.
5. Failed Transactions
If an amount is debited but the payment is unsuccessful: The amount is generally reversed automatically by the bank/payment gateway. Parents should first check with their bank.
If assistance is required, the school Finance Office may be contacted.
6. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by The School of Raya, the refund shall normally be processed within 7–15 working days through the original mode of payment, subject to banking timelines.
7. Cancellation of Online Payments
After successful completion of an online payment, cancellation of the transaction is generally not permitted.
Any request for reversal shall be considered only under exceptional circumstances and in accordance with the
School's policies.
