Rumble is The School of Raya's annual all-India open. It alternates between skate and climb, and it brings the country's sharpest young athletes to a campus built for them.
We didn't want another tournament. We wanted a weekend that treats young competitors the way senior athletes are treated — a real course, honest judging, decent prize money, medical cover, a crowd, a soundtrack, and the kind of production that makes a ten-year-old feel like what they're doing matters.
It does matter. That's the whole point.

Three days.
Rumble runs Friday through Sunday. Registration opens six months out and closes when the final category fills. Athletes arrive Thursday evening for orientation and course walkthrough; finals and the closing ceremony wrap Sunday night.
Heats across every category.
Each athlete gets three runs. Top scorers advance. Under-12 runs in the morning so families can watch before school pickup hours elsewhere.
Build sessions, then it gets serious.
Morning clinics with invited pros — open to every registered athlete, not just finalists. Semi-finals from 3pm. Live music, food trucks, family programming alongside.
Podiums, prize purse, closing set.
Finals across all four age categories. Trophies, medals, cash prizes, and scholarships for stand-outs. Closing ceremony and athlete dinner Sunday evening.
Four age brackets. One field.
Open to any athlete competing at any level — school team, club, unaffiliated, self-taught. You don't need a sponsor. You don't need a ranking. You just have to show up ready.
Grommets
Street and mini-ramp. Judged on progression as much as execution — we're looking for the kid who's going to be dangerous in four years.
Juniors
Street, park, and vert qualifiers. Full format. The category most heavily scouted by invited pros and scholarship judges.
Open School
The country's fiercest high-school field. Street, park, vert. Winners get automatic entry to national selection programmes.
Collegiate Open
Young adults still competing. Introduced in 2026 to keep our alumni community in the field.
