When giving becomes an experience
What happens when a school transforms the simple act of giving into a shared community experience? At The School of Raya, our Street Store brought students, families and the wider Raya community together to share, contribute and make a difference. Gently used clothes and essentials found a new purpose, while the experience created space for meaningful conversations around empathy, dignity and mindful consumption.
For our Rayots, the Street Store was more than an event, it was an opportunity to experience the impact of their choices firsthand. By participating in the initiative, they explored what it means to give with intention, care for their community and recognise that meaningful change often begins with small, thoughtful actions. Because at Raya, learning extends beyond the classroom. It is about growing into individuals who notice, care and choose to make a difference.
