Raya Excelsior celebrates student agency and curiosity, showcasing independent research, creative thinking, and self-directed inquiry.
Excelsior marked a defining milestone in Raya’s IB Continuum, bringing together our DP Extended Essay presentations and the MYP Personal Project exhibition. Grounded in curiosity, a core value woven through every stage of learning at Raya, the day celebrated where self-directed inquiry can lead when students are given the room to question deeply. Across our learning spaces today, students shared the culmination of these journeys, defending original research, creative outcomes, and ideas driven entirely from within.
Students unpacked their discoveries, research hurdles, pivots, and the unexpected insights they navigated along the way. For our school community, Excelsior offered a clear look at what student agency looks like at the culmination of the MYP and DP: deliberate, intellectually honest, and powered by an enduring curiosity that continues to climb.
