PYP Exhibition – Inspired by Interests: Building Identity and Impact
Discover how The School of Raya's PYP Exhibition empowered learners to explore their passions, strengthen their identities, and become confident changemakers.

Raising PYP Changemakers
This year's Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition, guided by the transdisciplinary theme Who We Are, celebrated the remarkable journey of learners as they explored the central idea that personal interests shape identity, learning, and the ways individuals connect with the world. Through weeks of inquiry, students reflected on the influences that shape their passions—from family and culture to personal experiences—while investigating the historical and cultural significance of their interests. Their learning journey encouraged them to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and recognise how individual passions can evolve into knowledge, skills, and purposeful action.
The Exhibition was more than a showcase of student learning; it was a celebration of curiosity, agency, and the values that define an IB education. As learners confidently shared their research, reflections, and insights, they demonstrated how personal interests can foster stronger relationships, build communities, and inspire positive change. The event stood as a powerful reminder that when children are encouraged to pursue what genuinely inspires them, learning becomes deeply personal, purposeful, and capable of creating a lasting impact beyond the classroom.
