On 16 November 2024, the four tribes - Kazan, Moana, Rann, Skog - christened Raya's new sports field with war cries and relays. Two-time Olympic swimmer Srihari Nataraj came to watch.
First Sports Day, Four Tribes, One New Field
Raya's first Sports Day, 16 November 2024, on a field that had never been raced on before. The four house tribes - Kazan, Moana, Rann, Skog - arrived with war cries and drilled routines and spent the day competing for the first set of points in the school's history.
Srihari Nataraj, a two-time Olympic swimmer, came as guest of honour.
The youngest Rayots, from Early Years, ran too - and reliably stole the morning, which is the part of a sports day nobody schedules and everybody remembers.
