Open to Raya families

The morning opened with the flag and song. Then students, parents, and teachers sat down together, books in hand, for Raya's first Reading Circles.

Independence Day, and the First Reading Circles

Independence Day began the way it should - the flag, songs, a campus full of Rayots marking the day rather than just observing it.

Then the spaces changed use. For the first Raya Reading Circles, students, parents and teachers sat together with books open, reading aloud and trading the stories that make a room go quiet and then loud again.

Two ideas, one morning: what it means to belong to a country, and what it means to belong to a circle of readers.
